Lithology and Thickness
The Continental Intercalaire Fm. is made up of sandstones with minor occurrence of clays (see Fig. 5 of Klett, 2000).

Lower contact
It conformably overlies the Cabao Fm.
Upper contact
It is unconformably (Lower and Middle Aptian is absent) overlain by the Nefusa Gr.
